Zomaar wat kreten uit schoolgidsen. En allemaal goed. Maar wat bedoelen we ermee? Op een bijeenkomst met bestuurders vroeg een deelnemer aan de workshopleider om dit te concretiseren. De workshopleider kaatste de bal terug: wat vind jij dan \u2018inspirerend onderwijs\u2019 betekent voor jou kinderen en wat zie ik een leerkracht doen?<\/p><p>Anders gezegd: wat verstaan we eigenlijk onder onderwijskwaliteit? Vraag het een ouder en hij vindt dat zijn kind graag naar school moet gaan. Later is een \u2018hoog\u2019 advies opeens belangrijk. Dan verandert de focus en proberen we kwaliteit te meten. Maar kun je iets dat kwalitatief is, kwantitatief meten? Ja, je kunt proberen om kwaliteit te kwantificeren. Dan gaan we alles op een 5-puntsschaal leggen; alles onder de 3 is onvoldoende \u2013 alles erboven is voldoende. Doet een school met een \u2018onvoldoende\u2019 van de inspectie dan alles fout? Het gaat er vooral om wat je zelf goed onderwijs vindt en wat de ouders en kinderen willen ervaren.<\/p><p>Meet de kwaliteit af aan je eigen ambitie. En aan wat \u2018jouw\u2019 kinderen en ouders willen ervaren.
