Er zit vaak iets verdrietigs is. Iedereen werkt keihard, maar de lijn is weg en de sturing ontbreekt. En langzaamaan gaat iedereen zijn eigen klas in en doet ieder \u2018zijn eigen ding\u2019. Het is helemaal mis als ik in de klassen ook nog waterkokers en senseo-apparaten zie staan. Zo was ik eind april op een school in Utrecht. In de teamkamer hangt een ansichtkaart met de tekst: \u2018Zonder schuring geen glans\u2019. Iedereen kent deze uitspraak, maar wat doen we ermee? Volgens de leerkrachten stuurt de directeur top down; de directeur klaagt over het gebrek aan eigenaarschap bij de leerkrachten; ouders vinden dat ze niet goed betrokken worden bij de zorg aan hun kind en de intern begeleider communiceert zich suf, maar niemand leest de emails. En wat doen we dan? Dan zeggen we het tegen iedereen, maar niet tegen wie het betreft.<\/p><p>Of het de oorzaak is of een gevolg weet ik niet, maar durven we het lastige gesprek aan te gaan? Durven we de plek der moeite op te zoeken? Dat is lastig en ongemakkelijk, eens.
